Skills — ready-made commands for recurring tasks
Learn how to save any repeatable task as a skill and run it instantly every time, with consistent format, tone, and zero re-explaining.

If you do the same thing every week, a skill will do it faster and better. A command configured once runs perfectly every time — no repeated explanations needed.
What is a skill
A skill (SKILL) is a saved instruction for a recurring task. One click — and the agent does the entire job: it takes the right context, format, and tone — and completes the task.
Examples of skills:
- "Write an Instagram post from these talking points"
- "Summarize this conversation in 3 sentences"
- "Generate the weekly metrics report"
How to create a skill
Two ways:
- From a conversation. When the agent completes a task perfectly — write: "Save this as a skill named [Name]". The agent will save the instruction and use it on request.
- From the library. ASCN offers ready-made skills — add them in one click.
Why skills are better than repeating requests
Consistency of format and style. A skill always starts with the right context, in the right format, with the right tone. You don't explain everything from scratch each time — you just run it.
Speed. What used to take 10 minutes to explain now takes seconds.
