The Agent Is Reporting Incorrect Data
The story of two weeks of wrong reports: how a silent error crept into the data, why it never 'fixes itself', and how to build data quality checks.

"It'll fix itself" — that thought cost one entrepreneur two weeks of lost time.
What happened
A management consultant from Minsk set up a morning digest: every day at 8:30, the agent was supposed to check email, tasks in Notion, and Calendar, then send a daily summary. He spent an hour on setup, clicked "save," and went to sleep.
The next morning at 8:30 — nothing. He waited until 9:00. Nothing. He decided: "Probably the task hasn't synced yet, it'll run tomorrow."
The next day — nothing again.
Two weeks passed. The agent never once sent the digest. The consultant wrote to support: "Your product hasn't been working for 14 days."
The investigation revealed: the Notion integration had not been authorized. The green checkmark on the settings page meant the integration had been added to the list — not that it was working. An OAuth authorization flow still needed to be completed.
Just 2 minutes of diagnostics — and two weeks of lost time.
Why we don't check
Human psychology: we want to believe everything is working. Checking takes effort. It's much easier to say "it launched, let's wait for results."
