Sales are coming in. But how much do you actually keep? Orders are in your dashboard, while fees, shipping costs, returns, and ad spend are spread across reports. Tyler helps bring the numbers together so you can see which products make money, where costs are rising, and what to check first.

Works with Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Wildberries, and Ozon. Connect your store through an available integration or start by uploading a report.

What it looks like

Here’s an illustrative example. A seller asks:

“This product sells well. Should I spend more on ads?”

Order volume alone isn’t enough to answer. Tyler checks the available expenses and asks for product costs if they aren’t included in the report. You can enter them in chat or upload a file.

Suppose each sale breaks down as follows:

  • Selling price: $100.

  • Product cost and packaging: $40.

  • Platform fees and shipping: $25.

  • Advertising: $15.

The result:

“You have $20 left per sale after the listed expenses. Taxes, returns, and other costs haven’t been included yet. Increasing ad spend could bring in more sales while reducing that amount. Let’s first check your current cost per ad-driven order and any expenses still missing.”

You get a calculation with the inputs clearly shown and a practical next step. If information is missing, Tyler explains what to add and why it matters.

What you can ask Tyler to do

Analyze sales

Orders are down, but the reason isn’t clear. Tyler compares periods, highlights changes by product, and checks the available inventory, pricing, returns, and advertising data.

When the evidence doesn’t explain the change, Tyler separates confirmed findings from possible causes.

“Review last month’s sales and show me what needs attention.”

Calculate profit per product

A product can sell well without leaving much money behind. Tyler combines the available expenses with your product costs and shows what remains.

The calculation makes it clear which costs are included and which are missing. Orders, revenue, platform payouts, and profit are treated as separate figures.

“Calculate how much I make on each product.”

Check inventory

Tyler compares stock levels with sales velocity and replenishment lead times. It flags products that could run out before the next delivery and items whose stock levels may need a review.

For the estimate, Tyler asks for lead times and any other missing information.

“Which products are at risk of running out soon?”

Improve product listings

Get titles, descriptions, product attributes, and image briefs tailored to your sales channel. Tyler uses the product information you provide and asks about details that haven’t been confirmed.

It won’t invent certifications, materials, or product benefits.

“Review this product listing and suggest improvements.”

Review ad performance

Tyler compares spending with the available results and highlights campaigns and products worth checking. If the report doesn’t support a calculation of profit from advertising, it explains what’s missing.

“Show me where we’re spending on ads without clear results.”

Draft customer replies

Tyler helps review customer feedback and questions, identify recurring complaints, and draft responses. It takes your communication guidelines and product information into account.

“Review these customer reviews and draft replies to the negative ones.”

Research competitors and product opportunities

Compare available prices, listings, features, and reviews. Tyler helps develop ideas for your product range and identify the evidence behind them.

A public listing alone cannot reveal a competitor’s exact sales or guarantee demand.

“Compare my product with these competitors.”

How to get started

  1. Share your sales channel and goal. For example: “I sell on Amazon and want to understand why my profit has dropped.”

  2. Connect your store or upload a report. Tyler explains which data the task requires.

  3. Confirm what Tyler can access. It reports what it could retrieve—for example, orders are available, but ad spend isn’t.

  4. Choose your first task. Tyler suggests two or three options based on the available data.

  5. Get a usable result. A calculation, analysis, table, draft, or file—with findings and next steps.

You don’t need to understand every platform report before you start. Tyler identifies missing information, explains why it’s needed, and suggests how to provide it.

What you’ll need

Start with a brief description of your store and your goal. Tyler then asks for the information needed for that task.

For example, a profitability calculation may require purchase costs, packaging, inbound shipping, and other expenses. Inventory planning may require supplier lead times and expected deliveries.

You can provide information in chat or upload a file. Enter passwords and API keys only in the designated connection settings.

Supported sales channels

Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Wildberries, and Ozon.

Available features vary by platform, integration, and account permissions. Connecting a store doesn’t automatically provide access to every type of data.

If an integration can’t retrieve the information needed, you can use a report exported from your seller dashboard.

Who Tyler is for

  • Store owners who want a clear view of business performance.

  • Sellers who want to understand costs before making decisions.

  • Managers handling listings, inventory, ads, and customer reviews.

  • Teams comparing performance across multiple stores.

Frequently asked questions

Will Tyler change prices or launch ads on its own?

Changes to prices, advertising settings, listings, and other store settings require your approval. Preparing a recommendation and applying it are separate steps.

Can I use Tyler without connecting my store?

Yes. Upload a report or provide the data in chat. Tyler explains what can be concluded from the information available.

Can Tyler calculate my exact profit?

Tyler can calculate profit when the necessary revenue and expense data is available. If information is missing, it flags the gaps rather than treating unknown costs as zero.

What if Tyler can’t access part of my store?

Ask: “Check which data you can actually access.” Tyler identifies the unavailable data, explains the cause if known, and suggests the next step—such as checking connection permissions or uploading a report.

What if the answer is too general?

Specify the result you need: “Show me the three main issues, the numbers behind each finding, and what to do next.” If more data is needed, Tyler asks for it.
