6 things ASCN does
that ChatGPT doesn't

ChatGPT is built as a universal chat assistant. From day one, ASCN was built as an autonomous agent: a goal, a schedule, tools and delivery channels.

Runs 24/7 while you sleep

Launches on schedules and triggers: sorts your inbox at 8:00, monitors mentions, delivers summaries to Telegram.

ChatGPT only works while you're in the chat

Connects any API and MCP on its own

Give it a link to a service that's not in the catalog — the agent writes the script itself, authenticates and starts using it.

ChatGPT only explains how to do it by hand

Lives in Telegram and Slack

Assign a task by voice from your phone — the agent in Telegram and Slack replies just like a regular chat partner.

ChatGPT — only their own app

A marketplace of ready-made agents

Dozens of working scenarios in a single click. Package your own solution and sell it to clients through the built-in marketplace.

GPT Store — only chatbots, with no monetization

Remembers you between sessions

Memory builds itself: name, time zone, preferences, decisions. It survives a closed chat and works across every task.

ChatGPT starts almost every conversation from a blank slate

Writes its own tool for the task

If it can't find the right skill, it builds one itself, saves it and reuses it in future runs. It improves over time.

ChatGPT doesn't save its tools
Three limitations of ChatGPT

ChatGPT answers questions.
Business needs results.

ChatGPT is a powerful chat assistant. But a conversation and a working automation are two different things.

01

Only works while you're in the chat

ChatGPT replies to a message and waits for the next one. It doesn't start itself in the morning, doesn't react to a new email, doesn't run in the background. Close the tab and the work stops.

02

Doesn't connect to your services

ChatGPT doesn't integrate with Gmail, CRM, Telegram or Slack directly. It can explain how to set up an integration, but it can't do it for you.

03

The GPT Store has chatbots, not automation

The GPT Store offers custom chatbots for conversation. Ready-made working automations with integrations, schedules and delivery channels aren't there.

Why do customers choose ASCN over ChatGPT?

No code, no terminal, no deploys

Everything is set up through a simple interface. You don't need to understand how it works under the hood — no server, no Python, no deploys. Even long, multi-step chains of actions run without a single line of code. It just works — right away, from the very first run.

Frequently asked questions about ASCN and ChatGPT

Still have a question that isn't answered below? Message us in the support chat — a real person replies, usually within a couple of minutes.
Open support chat
I already pay for ChatGPT Plus. Why would I need ASCN?
ChatGPT is a chat assistant: you type, it answers. ASCN is a cloud agent: it connects to Gmail, CRM, Telegram and Slack and does the work itself on schedules and triggers. ChatGPT and ASCN solve different problems and are often used together.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the task in plain words — the agent picks the steps, connects the services it needs and assembles the scenario. Even connecting a new API happens through a chat with the agent, not through code.
What about my data and access?
Keys and passwords are stored encrypted. You control exactly what the agent can do: which services it touches, which actions it takes, and which require your confirmation first.
How long does it take to launch the first agent?
From 3 to 15 minutes for simple scenarios — grab a ready-made one from the marketplace and connect your accounts. For complex turnkey cases there's a separate service: the ASCN team builds the agent for you over a call.
Can I use ASCN together with ChatGPT?
Yes. Many teams use ChatGPT for brainstorming and drafts, and ASCN for background work: sorting email, updating CRM, reports in Slack. Under the hood, ASCN can also call OpenAI models when a task needs it.
What if the task is more complex than a ready-made template?
Describe the task in the chat — the agent builds the scenario from scratch and, if needed, connects new APIs and MCPs on its own. Premium plans include a dedicated manager and turnkey builds.
